There used to be a Mexican restaurant downtown. They then began to serve Japanese food as well as Mexican. This seemed very 'William Gibson' to me - the mixture of the two cultures. Later, they stopped the Mexican all together and turned it into a sushi bar. Anyway, one night, after returning home from the record story with my copy of the Tori Amos 'Professional Widow' CD Single I stopped off for some Mexican food. The guy behind the counter was stoked I had the CD. He loved the remix and said that Armand van Helden was 'the fucking shit mang - I mean, this guy knows his beats mo-fucker'. I always thought that cover was ultra-sexy as well...
