Kyle MacLachlan (born February 22, 1959, in Yakima, Washington) is a Golden Globe award winning American actor. He is a graduate of the University of Washington and moved to Hollywood, California to pursue his career soon after his 1982 graduation. He is best recalled for his television series roles as Agent Dale Cooper in Twin Peaks and Trey MacDougal in Sex and The City.
